Georgia Massage School is dedicated to providing exceptional massage instruction. Our mission is to prepare students to effectively address orthopedic conditions through comprehensive assessment skills, in-depth training in deep tissue massage techniques, and mastery of full-body Swedish massage. We strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment that prepares our graduates for successful careers in therapeutic massage. The massage program includes detailed Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, and Kinesiology to ensure an understanding of structures beneath your hands.  Knowing vulnerable areas is crucial for client safety.

The massage certification program is divided into four quarters:  Introductory, Lower Extremity, Axial Skeleton, and Upper Extremity.  Your massage education begins with basic techniques and the foundation necessary for advanced anatomical study and technical skill development. You are introduced to Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, and important medical terminology. Each area of the body requires different massage techniques to achieve the results your clients want. That’s why we require our students to complete specialized studies for distinct body regions.  You will be able to better understand the structure, function, palpation, assessment, and treatment of the soft tissues associated with each region.

We’re authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (NPEC) and operate in compliance with its minimum standards and criteria for certificate-granting institutions. As part of these standards, the school maintains a Student Complaint Procedure to resolve difficulties or problems encountered in school-related activities.
